It would have helped greatly with your driver twirl after your "arrow through the ears" move.

Two very kind men and wonderful strikers of the ball!
I had a chance to interact with both men at the Swamp and they have "mad skills" in addition to being true gentlemen!
The Swamp is a happening place y'all!

Baton Twirlling With Mrs. Yoda

Due to a nagging neck injury suffered many years ago, my wife has never been able to play golf. Nevertheless, if you watch her make only one pass through the ball on the practice tee -- she does this about once every ten years! -- you see a perfect golf motion.
I'll never forget the first shot she hit. After completely missing the ball the first couple of times, she hit a perfect shot: compressed, well flighted, and with a slight draw at the end.
Her secret?
She was a majorette in high school, and she related the golf swing to her baton twirling . . .
Yoda: Honey, you've never swung a golf club in your life. Where did you learn that motion?
Mrs. Yoda: It's easy . . . Ball-thumb.
Y: Ball-thumb??
MY: The ball of the baton follows the left thumb.
Y: But, you're right-handed.
MY: Of course I am, you green dummy, but if I were twirling left-handed, it would work the same way.
Y: So, the release motion in golf is just a left-handed baton twirl?
MY: Just get your students to make that motion, and they'll do fine. Now, where are you taking me for dinner?

Whew! At last! The Flail in it's most simple terms! Please pass along my genuine appreciation from one teacher to another, for making the complex so simple!

Some awesome posts there Yoda! Quick question though, the video with Curt Sanders in it, was it to demonstrate setup or is there more to the video?
Keep up the good work!

Ouch. Thought that was a full swing. I've now added another that I caught during the backstroke. Together, you'll have the complete swing. Thanks, Alex!

Thanks Yoda! Thought it was just me missing something
Really liked the JR video about the forward press. Lots of interesting things to incubate!

Thanks MIke.
I was channelling Daryl on that one but kept it to only one level.......he can have whole conversations with himself. Truly amazing and perhaps what Homer meant by "Divergent Vectors".

I can vouch for this, well the Daryl part anyways. Sometimes he'll even start disagreeing with himself. That takes some talent. Well , not that much talent maybe if you know what I mean.
