Perception of TGM amongst tour players?
John: What is the perception of TGM amongst tour players? I know a lot of pros have been taught by AIs but TGM awareness seems to be quite low on tour.

tgm on tour
tgm has had a bad rap throughout the golfing world.when people do not understand something they think it is hard.the termanology of tgm scares people.tour players are no exception.although we all know that tgm is just the opposite.i have had players tell me they have read the book several times and cannot understand it.i try to convey to them that it is not ment to be read from front to back, but to use it like an encyclopydia.i always get the same dumb founded look.tgm is in my opinion the easiest way for anyone to play golf.my 4 year old son can trace the plane line with a right arm flying wedge.a video of him will be coming soon.
the reason i am on here is to learn for myself and also to help spread the word.i truly believe in tgm, this is my way of giving back to the sport that has been my life for years.i am working at this time to try and get lynn, rob and myself on acadamy live on the golf channel.plus when i go on to and perform to my ability everyone will know about tgm |
John: What is your story with TGM? How did you get into it?

TOUR Talk Video And Audio Coming Soon To A Computer Near You
Quote:
The audio idea came about spontaneously when John was telling me how, since his recent lesson with Rob and for the first time in his career, he was able to feel "pure compression" on a thirty-yard pitch shot. He went on to discuss what he was doing and why. I told him, "I should be taping this conversation because this is exactly the kind of thing our members would love to hear." He agreed and... It will happen. Oh, and about John's four-year-old and his tracing right forearm. Don't be too impressed...He's been doing it since he was two while keeping his Left Wrist Flat. Now you can be impressed! As far as The Golf Channel goes... Have dowels. Will travel. Finally, on another very positive note, John offered -- and I eagerly accepted! -- to carry the Lynn Blake Golf logo on a panel of his golf bag. The 'TaylorMade guy' will soon receive our PDF via email. As John said, "This should help increase our exposure on Tour." Oh Yeah! Thanks, John. Hold on tight, everybody. Here we go! |
Thanks, that is an interesting perspective.
Looking forward as time permits for more of you posts. |
