Got a beginner question here. I was out this evening on an unusually warm Feb evening trying to get some yardages for my half wedges. I made sure and set up with my right forearm and shaft on the same plane and was swinging halfway back and halfway thru and noticed I was really hitting the ball solid. This got me thinking...is this good practice with all clubs or just short irons? Is it worth practicing acquired motion with mid and long irons and even lofted fairway woods?

Oh Yes! Driver to wedge. Does everyone do this? No. Ben Doyle has students hit acquired and Punch shots with every club in the bag. Try adjusting lag pressure with club too
